I have taken
over from David,
my Dad, in writing the introduction to our regular
newsletter.
On page 8 you’ll find David celebrating our 25th
anniversary with the Kia franchise and reminiscing
about the 25 years of change and growth that have
taken place since he became Managing Director
and Ken Jervis Kia was born. I don’t remember too
much about that - I’d only been born myself 2 years
earlier!
Many of our customers will remember those early
days though, and the intervening 25 years, and
that’s because we are proud and fortunate to have
such a high proportion of loyal customers who
have stayed with us through a whole series of car
purchases, and who have brought their families to
do the same.
All the team here work hard to fulfil my Dad’s simple
Number 1 Rule: ‘Look after the customers’, and
this has recently led to our 1000th Google review.
It makes our day to know we’ve made someone
happy enough to want to leave a positive comment.
Be sure to take a look at the feature on page 5. The
Sportage has been a massive success for Kia. In
2024 it became the UK’s second favourite car and
best-selling SUV. Now the all-electric equivalent, the
EV5, has been launched and is sure to be a smash
hit. Call us to drop in and see this game-changing
vehicle for yourself.
And last but not least, please do come and join us
if you can for our Christmas Open Day on Saturday
6th December. And if our Parts Team can help you
with any Kia accessories as stocking fillers or larger
